Narcotics Anonymous sprang from the Alcoholics Anonymous program of the late 1940s, with meetings first emerging in the Los Angeles area of California, USA, in the early 1950’s. The NA program started as a small US movement that has grown into one of the world’s oldest and largest organizations of its type

PEI Area meetings are held on a tri-monthly basis, on the last Sunday of each according month (January, April, July, October). Any and all members of NA are welcome and encouraged to attend, regardless of clean time or service position (or lack thereof). Meetings are held in Summerside, PE, in January and July and are located at St. Paul’s Parish Centre. In April and October they are held in Charlottetown, PE at the Canadian Mental Health Building.
